Is Facebook integration with SharePoint appropriate in the enterprise?

Well for the Michael’s Weekly P&P Challenge on Is Facebook integration with SharePoint appropriate in the enterprise? we only had one response. Hopefully, though it will serve as a good jumpstart to getting the series moving. I have set up a section on a new site wiki to contain aggregations of each weeks responses and you can see that here. To ensure that submissions remain posted I do ask that you send me a copy of the video (you can upload to any free share service such as Microsoft Skydrive) and not just a link to an existing hosting of it. This will help me to make sure that we keep the integrity of the entries intact with no broken links as we build a repository of user generated knowledge and ideas.

For last weeks question, Michaels Weekly P&P Challenge: Facebook SharePoint Integration?, although the deadline was last night I will continue to accept entries today if you have any thoughts on the subject. Be sure to check out my video on how to participate “Video: Introducing Michaels P&P (Point Counter Point) A New Site Feature.”

Well without further delay check out this entry to the challenge by Ernest. smile_regular

I just received another response to last weeks challenge on Facebook SharePoint integration. In this response SB Chatterjee explains why he thinks such integration can be a good thing. He also passed along a link to me that I want to include here as well. It is to a post titled Embedded Sharing with the Facebook Kit for SharePoint! I am also embedding SBs video on the wiki page for all responses to the challenge question from last week. You can see all response here.

You can also visit SB at his blog here.

Well this morning I woke up to another cup of coffee and another entry to last weeks challenge question (see Michaels Weekly P&P Challenge: Facebook SharePoint Integration?) In this video SharePoint expert Tiffany Songvilay discusses her views on SharePoint Integration with Facebook. You can see all the posts on this topic aggregated together the the challenge wiki page located here.

We have an another entry for Michaels Weekly P&P Challenge: Facebook SharePoint Integration? This entry is from Paul "SharePoint" Swider and Paul is the first person to use my new Michaels Bi-Weekly Challenge Entry Form. Thanks Paul! By using the form, you can find it on my blogs home page on left hand side under Site Resources, I can get a lot more information about participants to pass along including any bio information, web site address, really anything you want me to pass along. I also LOVE that Paul used a webcam to record his video. I want submissions to be easy. You don’t need a high tech camera set up. Just a laptop/PC and a webcam works fine. This is all about your ideas and the content! Okay, ‘nuff said. On to Paul!
