With all the buzz around SharePoint 2010 folks are keenly interested in just what it is going to take to move from their existing SharePoint 2007 and in some cases 2003 instances. While in place upgrades is indeed a targeted scenario with the SharePoint 2010 release understanding the nuances and and needed preparation for upgrading is essential. With that in mind I have been pointing clients lately to three primary resources. There are many great blog entries popping up and I am sure that will accelerate as we move to release but these three really should serve as the baseline for getting up to speed and preparing for the wild ride that will be SharePoint 2010.

• SharePoint 2010 Upgrade Resource Center – That’s right there is an upgrade center care of MSDN.
• SharePoint 2010 on TechNet – Technet has started aggregating all things SharePoint 2010
• SharePoint 2010 Website – It is ground zero for SharePoint 2010 and yes, it is running today on SharePoint 2010 beta code :-)
